NVCC’s Short-term Job Training Programs Offer an Opportunity for Change
Naugatuck Valley Community College (NVCC) is hosting a series of free information events for everyone interested in workforce-ready programs. These information sessions provide participants with a chance to explore the numerous short-term job training programs that are available at NVCC.  Programs range from 8 hours to 15 months in length and have both day and evening schedules; many offer State or Professional Certification opportunities. The College offers payment options and may be able to refer potential students to resources for tuition and fees.

Information sessions are offered at both Waterbury and Danbury campuses. Specialized introductions to the non-credit health care and welding programs will include a tour of the facilities, if requested. Participants of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will benefit from a dedicated information session, where they will learn about available, no-cost career program options and how to prepare for this educational opportunity.

Join us for any of these information sessions and let us help you take the next step in your career.
