NVCC Welcomes New Manufacturing Students and their Families

Past graduates of the program shared their stories with the new students. Samantha Paecht, a 2018 graduate of the program, currently employed by Trumpf Inc., in Farmington Connecticut, and Nick Wilkins, currently employed by H&T Waterbury Inc., shared their challenges and reassured the students of the support they received at the AMTC.
The College has partnerships with over 200 local manufacturers. Presently the AMTC boasts a 100% job placement rate in good manufacturing jobs throughout the greater Waterbury, Danbury and Northwest corridor of the state with an average starting salary between $17.50 and $20 per hour.
