Two Naugatuck Valley Community College professors have been recognized for teaching excellence by the Connecticut Board of Regents for Higher Education.

Assistant Professor of English Steven Parlato has been honored with the 2015 Board of Regents Teaching Award, which recognizes faculty who have distinguished themselves as outstanding teachers and have a track record of promoting instructional improvements for their programs. Adjunct Professor of English Christopher Rempfer is one of two professors to be honored with the 2015 Board of Regents System-Wide Adjunct Teaching Award, which recognizes high-quality teaching among adjunct faculty.
