Naugatuck Valley Community College Dance Ensemble Presents Fall Dance Showcase
Share
The Terps started the semester in a difficult position. Professor Bratt explained that “many of the members had recently graduated, their longtime advisor had moved on from the college, the ongoing pandemic kept classes virtual, and performances were cancelled. However, when they realized that their art was not bound to a classroom or a stage, what began as restrictions soon became opportunities. The Terps found that the freedom dance provides can be experienced anywhere. All rehearsals and performances were done within strict health and safety guidelines, and the Ensemble put together six beautiful, thoughtful, and stirring performances, on their own. This is their work - and it is inspiring."
The showcase featured dances, songs, and choreography in a beautiful 23-minute showcase with inspiring themes that may be seen here.
