Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care Program Reports NVCC’s Outcomes Consistently Favorable

Naugatuck Valley Community College has reported its annual outcomes for the College’s Respiratory Care Program to the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). The commission affirmed that the NVCC program has met or exceeded all currently set thresholds for success on each of the required outcome measures in their Annual Report of Current Status and Resource Assessment Matrix.
NVCC President Daisy Cocco De Filippis, Ph.D. commented that “the Respiratory Care program housed in the new Center for Health Sciences is another example of NVCC’s commitment to student success and the health care community. Congratulations to Director Margaret Guerrera and the dedicated faculty and staff who work tirelessly to ensure that our students receive a high quality education.” Margaret Guerrera, MS, RRT, Program Director Respiratory Care Program commented that “This is an accomplishment of which our department, students and staff are proud.”
