Share
A 2009 graduate of the 3D Animation Digital Arts Technology program at NVCC, Adam has always had a passion for all things video. The Waterbury native attended Kaynor and Kennedy High Schools before seeking out the Digital Arts Program at NVCC. “When I started the program was new. There were so many opportunities to practice and learn new techniques, so many chances to share your newly-acquired skills with other students, even teach each other. I learned to love teaching my fellow students, eventually I graduated and assisted teaching the technology.” Adam had worked in the Digital Arts Technology Department since 2009.
In the fall of 2014, the Marketing Department sought help from Adam in producing the all-campus video tour. “He came in to help us with the project. We are grateful that he has stayed on as key member of our team,” noted Sydney Voghel-Ochs, director of marketing and public relations. In 2015, the Marketing Department began using video to teach students about specific functions within Student Services, including admissions, advising, financial aid. With Adam’s help, the “How To” Video series was born. Over the last 5 years, his contributions to College’s video library have grown significantly. Adam’s ingenuity with animation graphics is legendary on campus, his demeanor with colleagues in videotaping is exemplary and he never misses a deadline. He recently produced the Doing our P.A.R.T. video to kick off the campus-wide campaign. Needless to say, it was a huge success and the entire campus is looking forward to the next one.
