The NVCC Nursing Program was represented by five students at the 62nd Annual Convention of the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA). The students participated in the event’s Project Showcase, at which members and faculty display posters representing their projects and research. NVCC seniors presented “Incorporating the Core Values of the Connecticut Community College Nursing Program in Community Service Projects.” NVCC freshmen presented “A Nurse's Role Promoting a Lifetime of Good Oral Health.” The Convention was held at the Grand Ole Opry Hotel from April 9-13, 2014.
