Share
Naugatuck Valley Community College students received a first-hand look at the dangers of distracted and impaired driving when the “Save-a-Life Tour” stopped on campus on Wednesday, March 4. Sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA), the all-day event in Café West of the Student Center gave students access to simulators which demonstrated the consequences of texting while driving and operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The Save-a-Life Tour team also delivered an interactive presentation to the SGA meeting which included a movie and a moving first-hand account by the presenter.
