- William H. Foster III, professor at Naugatuck Valley Community College and comic book historian
Recognized nationally for his expertise in the history of blacks in comic books, Foster said this year’s convention promises to be a crowd-pleaser, with activities such as art battles, discussion panels and thrilling presentations on tap for the event.
“This is our fourth year bringing this fun family event to the Naugatuck Valley Community College campus, and we’ve added several new events and brought back a couple of favorites as well,” Foster said. “As far as I’m concerned, this is a terrific way to raise money for a worthy cause.”
Comic books, toys and collectibles will be available for sale and there will be raffles every hour. Each family will also receive a free comic book.
