NVCC strives to provide a positive environment to help all veterans obtain a degree from NVCC.

In an effort to increase the outreach to and results from recruiting veterans, the Student Services Unit of the College has recently developed a Vet Net Team made up of representatives from key areas. NVCC’s Vet Net Team is composed of Terry Latella- Counselor, Ben Mattheis-CAPSS Director, Deb DiCicco- F.A. Office/Veterans Affairs, Lisa Calabrese- Admissions, Ed Clancy- Registrar’s Office, and Colleen Hardy-Cashier’s Office.

The Student Services Team is working to improve the veteran’s experience at NVCC through staff development using team webinars on topics such as ”Academic Advising for Military Students.” The College is in the process of completing their “Veteran Friendly” certification.
