In addition to the leadership of Kathleen LeBlanc, MS, MSW, Professor & Program Coordinator Human Services & Social Work Studies, and Angela Chapman, Associate Dean of Development, who co-chair the organization and efforts of the NVCC Food Pantry, the Pantry is further supported through NVCC's third year of the Americorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) Campus Compact grant. AmeriCorps VISTA supports efforts to alleviate poverty by providing opportunities for its full-time service to create or expand programs designed to empower individuals and communities in overcoming poverty. LeBlanc and Chapman are pleased to introduce Marcia Parent, an NVCC alumna, who was appointed as the NVCC VISTA for the 2020-2021 academic year.
