The Naugatuck Valley Student FoodPantry serves students who may be struggling with food insecurity.
The pantry operates on the honor system. Students are allowed to self-refer and are not required to provide proof of need.
Students will be required to show their Student ID.
There are two programs available. The Grab and Go program offers a quick bite to students while they are on campus. The Grocery Program offers food (groceries!) for use at home.
Grab and Go Program - Spring 2024 Schedule
Need a quick snack between classes or something to keep you going through a long study session in the library. If so, stop by the Food Pantry to pick up a grab and go snack once a day during open hours.
Waterbury Campus Grocery Program (Appointment Only):
Students currently enrolled at Naugatuck Valley can place an online order for groceries every two weeks or twice a month for pick up on the Waterbury Campus.
Grocery pick-up is confirmed by appointment only (no walk-ins) and orders must be placed online.

Please note, grocery gift cards should not be requested through the Food Pantry offices.
Diaper Bank:
Naugatuck Valley students with children in diapers are eligible to receive disposable diapers once a week. Diapers are ordered online using the link below and can be picked up by appointment.

Thepantryopened on Naugatuck Valley's Waterbury campus in February 2018 and services were later expanded to the Danbury Campus. It is funded through theNVCC Foundation, which supports the mission of the College by promoting awareness of college needs and services while raising funds to support students and mission-related initiatives.
